New agreement with 791 Purchasing Cooperative can save transit agencies months of procurement time by providing access to a pre-competed contract for ETA technology.
BOCA RATON, FL — [Sep 3, 2026] — ETA announced today that it has been awarded a national cooperative purchasing contract through the 791 Purchasing Cooperative for Transit Services and Technology Solutions.
The competitively solicited contract provides eligible public agencies with a streamlined purchasing option for ETA technology, reducing the time and administrative burden associated with conducting a standalone solicitation.
The contract is led by the Central Texas Council of Governments and is available through May 31, 2034.
“Transit agencies are under pressure to modernize, but procurement can add months before a project even begins. This contract gives agencies another path to move forward with proven technology while significantly reducing the time and effort required to procure it.”
John Maglio, CEO of ETA.
