FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Boca Raton, FL — October 19, 2026 — ETA is pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract through The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), a national cooperative purchasing program serving public agencies and other eligible organizations across the United States.
Through the contract, eligible agencies can purchase ETA solutions through an established competitively procured cooperative contract rather than beginning a new solicitation from scratch. This can help reduce procurement time and administrative workload, provide access to established contract pricing and terms, and make it easier to move both small equipment purchases and larger technology projects forward.
“Transit agencies are constantly balancing the need to modernize technology with limited staff, budgets, and procurement resources,” said Nicole Castonguay, President of ETA Transit Systems. “Our TIPS contract gives agencies another purchasing path that can make the process more efficient while still allowing them to follow their own procurement requirements.”
ETA’s TIPS offering includes CAD/AVL, vehicle tracking, cloud-based software, mobile data terminals, vehicle logic units, automatic passenger counters, routers, passenger information displays, voice announcement systems, telematics integrations and related accessories. ETA also provides system planning, installation, configuration, testing, training, warranty support, maintenance, repair, and equipment replacement.
