ETA Transit Systems Expands Partnership with PDRTA, Completing APC Deployment

Boca Raton, Florida May 19, 2026 – Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority (PDRTA) has expanded its partnership with ETA Transit Systems with an APC deployment, building on a relationship that began with ETA’s CAD/AVL implementation and a successful 10-vehicle APC pilot program.

What started as a pilot became a proven model. Following the pilot’s success, PDRTA awarded ETA a contract for additional vehicle APC installation. From there, the teams moved fast — within one week of the project’s kick-off; ETA staff completed installation, putting PDRTA in a position to begin collecting richer ridership data almost immediately.

That speed matters, because PDRTA is in the middle of a significant transition. As the agency moves from rural to urban NTD reporter status, the stakes around ridership data accuracy and federal certification compliance have never been higher. ETA’s Tally APC certification software — purpose-built to support NTD reporting requirements — gives PDRTA the framework and expertise to navigate that shift with confidence.
