Sunny Isles Beach Transforms Public Transit with ETA Transit Systems

Boca Raton, Florida 2/1/2026 – Sunny Isles Beach is launching a modernized public transit system powered by ETA Transit Systems, bringing advanced operational and passenger-facing technology to the City’s fleet.

The Sunny Isles Beach fleet of eight vehicles is now equipped with a state-of-the-art CAD/AVL platform, including automated voice announcements, automatic passenger counters, an integrated onboard infotainment system, onboard Wi-Fi, and mobile video surveillance. Riders will have access to a custom-branded mobile app, along with real-time vehicle tracking and schedule information available through trip-planning tools supported by a GTFS-RT feed.

This comprehensive technology deployment enhances safety, improves rider communications, and delivers reliable real-time visibility for both riders and transit staff. Residents and visitors will enjoy a more connected, accessible, and user-friendly transit experience throughout Sunny Isles Beach.
